| Cambridge ESOL certificates are recognised by thousands of educational organisations and employers throughout the world. They can open doors to higher education and to improved job prospects.
Almost every university and college of higher education in the United Kingdom, hundreds of others in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and many other countries, accept Cambridge ESOL exams at Council of Europe levels C1 and C2 as evidence that the learner has sufficient language ability to follow a course taught in English. Education authorities in many countries, including the U.K., have formally accredited the Cambridge ESOL exams within their national education systems. Many other learners take an exam so that they can show prospective employers that they have the language skills needed for a wide variety of careers.
